Where to buy Our Legacy in North America in 2026
Our Legacy sells in North America through a tight circle of stockists rather than a chain of flagships. We map the reliable retailers in the US and Canada, price the core pieces, and explain the duty math.

Our Legacy still has no North American flagship in 2026, so the Stockholm label reaches this continent through a short list of multi-brand stockists. In the US, that means SSENSE, Mr Porter and Nordstrom. In Canada, it means SSENSE, Haven and Neighbour. We tracked stock at every one of them through the spring and fall drops, and the question of where to buy Our Legacy comes down to which stockist holds the size you want on the day. Pricing barely moves between them: Camion boots sit in the high hundreds in US dollars, while Third Cut jeans and the Borrowed BD shirt land in the low to mid three hundreds. The bigger variable is duty. Since the United States ended its low-value duty exemption in August 2025, ordering direct from Sweden means paying import charges at the door, so a domestic stockist is usually the cheaper route.

Why Our Legacy is harder to find than it should be
Our Legacy was founded in Stockholm in 2005 by Jockum Hallin and Christopher Nying, and it has grown into one of the few Scandinavian labels that shows on the official Paris Men's Fashion Week schedule. The brand runs its own stores in Stockholm, London and Berlin, plus shop-in-shops in Paris, Tokyo, Seoul and Busan. It does not operate a single store anywhere in North America. We checked Our Legacy's official store list on 10 September 2026 and found no address in the United States, Canada or Mexico.
That gap is not an oversight. It is the wholesale strategy. Our Legacy sells through a short, curated stockist list rather than a network of its own shops, and it keeps allocations tight. Each retailer buys once per season, receives one drop, and rarely gets replenishment when a size sells out. If the 44 in the Camion boot goes in the first week, it is usually gone from that store for the season. You can see how that compares with brands that run dozens of doors when you browse every designer Fetchi indexes.
Here is what that means for anyone shopping the brand in North America:
Three or four retailers carry the full seasonal run, including runway pieces, the Third Cut denim in every wash, and the complete outerwear line. These are the stores where a buyer committed to the whole collection. Every other stockist carries a partial edit. Expect the core knitwear, one or two shirt styles, a single denim fit and maybe the Camden or Camion footwear. No runway, no full colour range. Sizes skew toward the middle. A 46 or a 50 appears at most stockists. A 44 or a 52 is often limited to the two or three largest accounts. The drop lands once, in late January for spring and late July for autumn. After that the assortment only shrinks.
Then there is WORK SHOP, the sub-line built from recycled fabric, reworked deadstock and past-season pieces. As of our September 2026 check, the brand lists dedicated WORK SHOP stores only in Stockholm and London. It is almost never wholesaled. If you want WORK SHOP in North America, you are ordering from the brand's own site and paying for cross-border shipping and duties, or you are waiting for a friend to fly home from Stockholm.
So the difficulty is structural. The brand is big enough to show in Paris and small enough to keep its stockist list on one page. The rest of this guide walks through which North American retailers made that list, what each one actually carries, and where the price lands once the currency and import costs are factored in.
The best US retailers for Our Legacy in 2026
SSENSE is the deepest single Our Legacy stockist in North America, and it has held that position for several seasons running. It ships from Montreal to every US state with duties and taxes calculated and included at checkout, so the price we see on the product page is the price we pay. The run is the full one: the Camion boot in multiple leathers, the Formal Cut trouser, knitwear, and in some seasons the WORK SHOP upcycled pieces that rarely leave Europe. Returns are accepted within 30 days, though the return shipment goes back across the border. We start every search at Our Legacy at SSENSE.
Mr Porter takes second place on depth, and first place on convenience for US readers. Orders ship from a US warehouse, so a Camion boot at roughly $700 arrives in two to three days with no customs step at all. The buy leans toward outerwear and footwear rather than the full seasonal drop, but what it carries is usually available in a complete size run. Free returns run for 28 days from delivery, and the label is already in the box. We link to Our Legacy at Mr Porter.
Nordstrom is the practical third. The mainline stores in New York, Seattle and a handful of other cities carry an edited menswear buy, and nordstrom.com fills in the gaps. Depth is thinner, often a single boot, a couple of shirts and one or two knits per season, but this is the only retailer on our list where we can walk a wrong size back to a counter and swap it the same day.
Below the big three sit the specialty boutiques. Notre in Chicago buys Our Legacy with real conviction, including pieces the department stores skip, and it ships domestically. Farfetch and END. Clothing both list broad assortments, but the stock ships from partner boutiques in Europe or from END.'s UK warehouse. On a $700 boot, US import duty and brokerage can add $60 to $100 that only appears at the courier's door, unless the checkout shows a landed price. We check that line before we pay.
Retailer: SSENSE, Ships from: Montreal, Canada, Duties included: Yes, Returns window: 30 days, Typical depth: Deepest, incl. footwear and WORK SHOP. Retailer: Mr Porter, Ships from: United States, Duties included: Yes (domestic), Returns window: 28 days, free, Typical depth: Strong on Camion boots and outerwear. Retailer: Nordstrom, Ships from: United States, Duties included: Yes (domestic), Returns window: Flexible, in store or online, Typical depth: Edited seasonal buy. Retailer: Notre, Ships from: Chicago, US, Duties included: Yes (domestic), Returns window: 14 days, Typical depth: Curated, some rare pieces. Retailer: Farfetch, Ships from: Europe (partner boutiques), Duties included: Varies by boutique, Returns window: 14 days, Typical depth: Broad but inconsistent. Retailer: END. Clothing, Ships from: United Kingdom, Duties included: No, Returns window: 14 days, Typical depth: Broad, duty exposure.
Our rule of thumb: buy from SSENSE or Mr Porter first, use Nordstrom when fit is uncertain, and treat the European shippers as a last resort for sold-out sizes.

Where to buy Our Legacy in Canada
Canada is the easiest place in North America to buy Our Legacy at full retail. The reason is SSENSE. The retailer was founded in Montreal in 2003, still runs its buying and fulfilment from the city, and prices every Our Legacy piece in Canadian dollars. A domestic order ships from Quebec with no duty and no brokerage fee, which removes the two costs that inflate a cross-border purchase for American shoppers. SSENSE also carries the deepest Our Legacy assortment of any single retailer we track, typically well over a hundred styles each season across mainline, footwear and the Work Shop line.
If you want to try before you buy, the SSENSE store at 418 Rue Saint-Paul Ouest in Old Montreal is the one physical Our Legacy destination in Canada worth planning a trip around. It opened in 2018 in a five-floor stone building, and appointments pull inventory from the same warehouse as the website, so you can book a fitting for a Camion boot or a Club Jacket in your size rather than gambling on what happens to be on the floor.
Beyond SSENSE, a handful of independents stock the label properly. We would start here:
Toronto: Haven (with a second store in Vancouver) for the strongest edit of outerwear and footwear, Nomad on Queen West for mainline and knitwear, Lost and Found on Dundas West for a tighter, more editorial selection, and Uncle Otis for the classic shirting. Vancouver: Neighbour in Gastown, one of the longest-standing Our Legacy accounts in the country, plus the Haven Vancouver location. Montreal: Blue Button Shop for a considered mix of mainline and Work Shop, alongside the SSENSE store itself.
We think Canadian buyers are better served than Americans for two reasons. First, the largest single Our Legacy stockist in the world is a domestic retailer, so shipping is fast, returns are simple and there is no customs form. Second, the Canadian dollar price frequently undercuts the American one once you apply the exchange rate. Canadian tags are set seasonally rather than repriced with the currency, and through 2025 and 2026 that has left CAD prices cheaper in real terms than the USD prices at Mr Porter or Nordstrom. In our recent checks the gap reached roughly ten percent on the Box Shirt and the Camion boot. Run the conversion on the day you buy before assuming otherwise, but the pattern has held.
This is the same dynamic that makes Canada a strong market for other Swedish labels. If you are cross-shopping Acne Studios, our guide to buying Acne Studios in Canada covers the same stockists and the same SSENSE advantage in detail.
The brand is big enough to show in Paris and small enough to keep its stockist list on one page.
Ordering direct from ourlegacy.com: shipping, duties and returns
Our Legacy sells direct from ourlegacy.com and ships every order from its warehouse in Sweden, mostly by DHL Express. The site lets you switch region at the top of the page, so North American shoppers can browse in USD or CAD rather than SEK, and the checkout total is the price you pay the brand. It is not the price you pay to get the parcel through the door. We have ordered from Stockholm enough times to know that the customs line is where the real cost hides, and since 2025 it applies to both sides of the border.
Here is the duty reality as of September 2026:
**United States:** the 800 dollar de minimis exemption ended for all countries on August 29, 2025. Every parcel from Sweden is now assessed duty and any applicable fees, regardless of value. A Camion boot at roughly 690 USD lands with footwear duty in the 8 to 10 percent range plus a DHL brokerage charge, so budget around 80 to 100 USD on top. See the US Customs and Border Protection guidance on internet purchases for how those charges are calculated. **Canada:** the low-value exemption is only 20 CAD for shipments from outside the United States and Mexico. The higher CUSMA thresholds of 40 CAD for taxes and 150 CAD for duties apply solely to parcels from those two countries. A Swedish parcel is taxed above 20 CAD, which in practice means duty of up to 18 percent on apparel, plus GST or HST, plus a courier handling fee. On a 900 CAD Splash jacket, expect 200 to 250 CAD in landed charges.
Returns are where direct ordering hurts most. Our Legacy accepts unworn items within 14 days of delivery, but you pay to ship them back to Sweden. A tracked parcel from New York or Toronto to Stockholm runs 40 to 80 dollars, and the duty you already paid is refundable only if you file a claim with your customs agency, which almost nobody does. Refunds are processed after the warehouse inspects the item, typically 10 to 14 business days after arrival, so a wrong-size Camion can tie up close to a thousand dollars for a month.
Our conclusion is simple. If SSENSE, Mr Porter, Ssense's Montreal warehouse or a Canadian boutique carries the piece, buy it there and let them absorb the customs paperwork. Ordering direct only makes sense for items no North American stockist receives, such as the WORK SHOP upcycled drops, archive re-releases, and the odd colourway that never leaves Europe. For those, the duty premium is the price of admission. For a standard Camion or a First Cut jean, it is money you do not need to spend.

What Our Legacy costs in 2026, piece by piece
Our Legacy prices sit in a narrow band, and that band has barely moved in three years. Most of the line is cut and sewn in Portugal, with knitwear and some leather goods made in Italy, and the brand runs small seasonal batches with no outlet or off-price channel. That structure explains the pricing behaviour: full price is the norm, end-of-season markdowns arrive late, and they rarely go past 30 percent on the core pieces below.
Approximate US dollar ranges below were checked against SSENSE and Mr Porter listings in September 2026. Fabric and finish change the price within each style, so confirm the exact figure on the retailer page before you buy.
Piece: Camion Boot, Approximate USD range: $650 to $760, Where we saw it: SSENSE, Mr Porter. Piece: Camion Mule, Approximate USD range: $520 to $600, Where we saw it: SSENSE. Piece: Third Cut jeans, Approximate USD range: $300 to $360, Where we saw it: SSENSE, Mr Porter. Piece: Borrowed BD shirt, Approximate USD range: $310 to $370, Where we saw it: SSENSE, Mr Porter. Piece: Coach Jacket, Approximate USD range: $560 to $720, Where we saw it: SSENSE. Piece: Big Shirt, Approximate USD range: $320 to $400, Where we saw it: SSENSE, Mr Porter. Piece: Mid-weight knit (Popover Roundneck and similar), Approximate USD range: $420 to $560, Where we saw it: SSENSE, Mr Porter.
The Canadian storefront is the quiet advantage. SSENSE prices in Canadian dollars for Canadian addresses, and at the September 2026 exchange rate the CAD tag for a Camion Boot converts to roughly 8 to 10 percent less than the US dollar tag on the same page. Canadian readers pay sales tax at checkout and nothing more, since SSENSE ships from Montreal. Readers ordering from an overseas stockist by post should read the Canada Border Services Agency rules on duty for mailed goods first: the postal exemption is only 20 Canadian dollars, so duty and tax apply to nearly every parcel.
For placement, Our Legacy lands between Acne Studios and Lemaire. Acne's 1996 jeans run about $300 to $340, level with Third Cut, and Acne shirts are $350 to $420, slightly above the Borrowed BD. Lemaire's Twisted jeans are $520 to $600 and a Lemaire cotton shirt starts near $500, so the same wardrobe costs about 60 percent more there. We cover the retail map in our guide to where to buy Lemaire in North America. Dries Van Noten sits higher again, with shirts at $550 to $750 and mid-weight knits at $650 to $900, but Dries discounts deeper and earlier, so the gap narrows in sale season.
Our conclusion: budget for full price, buy the shoes and jeans first, and treat any Our Legacy markdown past 30 percent as an unusual event rather than something to wait for.

The Our Legacy pieces worth buying first
Our Legacy has spent two decades refining a small number of shapes rather than chasing seasonal novelty, and that is exactly why the same six pieces sell out year after year. Founded in Stockholm in 2005, the brand now sits in the same stockist tier as Lemaire and Dries Van Noten at Ssense, Mr Porter and Nordstrom, a position we mapped in our Dries Van Noten stockist guide. If you are buying your first piece, this is the order we would buy in.
**Camion Boot.** The signature. A Blake-stitched leather boot with a squared toe and a stacked heel, cut on a last that has barely changed since launch. The black leather version sells out every autumn at North American stockists, so we buy it in September or wait for a restock. Expect to pay north of USD 600 at full retail.
**Camion Mule.** The same last with the back cut away, and our warm-weather answer to the boot. It carries the same squared toe, so the pair reads as one silhouette across the year.
**Borrowed BD.** An oversized button-down cut short in the body, with a dropped shoulder and a spread collar. This is the brand's most copied silhouette, and every mass-market boxy oxford of the last five years owes it a debt. Buy the white or the blue stripe first.
**Third Cut jeans.** Straight leg, mid-rise, and cut in Japanese and Italian denim depending on the season. The Japanese runs are the ones we hunt for, and we explain why Japanese denim justifies its price elsewhere. At around USD 300 they are one of the cheapest entries into the core wardrobe.
**Coach Jacket.** Offered in wool for winter and nylon for spring, it is the year-round outer layer we reach for most. The wool version in charcoal is the one that sells through first.
**Pre-Dyed and Wave-pattern shirts.** The recognisable print. If you want a piece that reads as Our Legacy from across the room, the wavy line motif and the pre-dyed poplins do that job without a logo.
A note on fit. Our Legacy runs oversized by design. Many buyers size down one step in shirting and stay true to size in the Camion, which fits close to standard EU sizing. Check both before committing to a size online, because returns on sold-out pieces are slow to resell.
For collectors, the Stussy collaborations and the WORK SHOP line are worth tracking. WORK SHOP began in 2016 as a Stockholm outlet for reworked stock and now releases its own drops, and the Stussy pieces have landed roughly once a year since 2021. Both sell out within hours, so set alerts at Ssense and the brand's own store rather than expecting to browse.

How to find Our Legacy on sale without waiting a year
We have watched Our Legacy markdowns across North American stockists for several seasons, and the pattern is stable enough to plan around. The big multi-brand retailers move together: SSENSE and Mr Porter open their main sales within the same week, twice a year, then take a second cut about four weeks later. Independents are less tidy. A shop in Toronto or Los Angeles with a heavy Camion order might start cutting in early June, or hold at full price into August because a size run is still moving.
Late June: first summer markdown at SSENSE and Mr Porter, usually 20 to 30 percent off across the collection. Late July: second cut, often reaching 40 to 50 percent, but only on what is left, which means odd sizes and the less popular colourways. Late December: first winter markdown, with the same shallow opening percentage as June. Late January: second winter cut, with the same odd-size caveat. Independents: markdowns can start weeks earlier and rarely follow a fixed schedule, so they reward checking rather than waiting.
The practical reading is simple. If you wear a common size in a core colour, buy at the first cut, because that stock is gone before the second. If you take a 40 or a 46, or you want the seasonal colour nobody else does, the second cut is your window. We keep current Our Legacy markdowns across retailers updated through both waves so you can see what actually dropped rather than what the newsletter promised.
Resale is the other route, and for the Camion boot it is a good one. Grailed and The RealReal both carry deep Camion inventory in North America, often at 40 to 60 percent under retail for lightly worn pairs. Check two things before you pay. The sole stamp should be crisp and evenly pressed into the material, not faint or printed on. The lining label should be woven and stitched in place, not glued, with clean type. Blurry stamps and loose labels are the common tells on the fakes we have seen.
Our advice is to stop checking stockists one at a time. Search the piece once across every retailer, set the alert, and let the price come to you. We wrote up how to search one piece across every retailer at once if you want the method. And a plain reminder: a domestic stockist on sale beats a direct order from Stockholm at full price once duties, brokerage and shipping are counted.
Knowing where to buy Our Legacy in North America comes down to a short list of trusted stockists, a clear read on landed cost, and a little patience with the sale calendar. The brand's limited wholesale footprint is a feature, not a flaw, and it rewards buyers who plan ahead. We have laid out the retailers we trust, the price ranges we saw this season, and the pieces that earn their cost over years of wear. Three moves put that into practice.
Shortlist two stockists and check them first. For most US readers that means one department store and one multi-brand site with free returns. In Canada, SSENSE ships from Montreal, so duties never enter the picture. Bookmark both and compare stock before you look anywhere else.
Price the full landed cost before you order direct. Add shipping, duties and the exchange rate to the ourlegacy.com figure, then compare it with the North American stockist price. The gap is often smaller than it looks, and sometimes it runs the other way.
Buy a core piece at full price and wait on the rest. Camion boots, the Borrowed shirt and Third Cut jeans sell through early and rarely reach deep markdowns. Trend pieces and seasonal colours typically hit sale in January and July.
Do these three things and you will spend less time hunting and more time wearing the clothes.
Frequently asked
- Does Our Legacy have a store in the United States or Canada?
- As of our last check in September 2026, Our Legacy's own store list covers Stockholm, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, London, Paris and Seoul, with no brand-run store in North America. The label reaches US and Canadian buyers through multi-brand retailers such as SSENSE, Mr Porter, Nordstrom, Haven and Neighbour. Check the brand's store page before travelling, since the list can change.
- What is the best place to buy Our Legacy online in the US?
- SSENSE carries the deepest Our Legacy assortment for US shoppers and includes duties in the checkout price, so the total you see is the total you pay. Mr Porter ships from a US warehouse and is strongest on Camion boots and outerwear. Nordstrom offers a smaller edit but the easiest in-store returns.
- How much do Our Legacy Camion boots cost?
- Camion boots sit in the high hundreds in US dollars at full price, with the exact figure varying by leather and by retailer. Canadian dollar pricing at SSENSE often converts to a slightly lower US dollar equivalent. Prices move each season, so confirm the current figure on the retailer page and note the date.
- Do you pay duties when ordering Our Legacy from Sweden?
- Yes in most cases. The United States ended its 800 dollar duty-free exemption for all countries on August 29, 2025, so any parcel from Sweden to a US address is now dutiable. Canada exempts only mailed parcels worth 20 dollars or less from outside the US and Mexico, so an Our Legacy order from Sweden will attract tax and often duty. Buying from a domestic stockist avoids both.
- Is Our Legacy worth the price?
- We think the core pieces are, because the Camion boot, Third Cut jeans and Borrowed BD shirt have held their silhouettes for years and rarely lose value on resale. Production is in Portugal and Italy in small runs, which explains the price and the shallow markdowns. The brand is a poorer fit if you want frequent deep discounts or a slim, fitted cut.
